Kovini Moodley is a Chartered Accountant CA ( SA) since 2010 and has worked accross many leading companies across her 17.5 year tenure gaining extensive experience accross Audit, Audit Strategy, Strategic Consulting , Risk Management , Audit Readiness Initiatives , Stakeholder Management, Executive & Board Presentations and Strategic Communication Rollouts

She completed her articles at Deloitte South Africa, and thereafter ventured into the world of management consulting through Accenture South Africa whereby she led several optimisation projects for many JSE listed companies.

She held the role of Head of Strategic Audit Transformation at Discovery Health for 6 years until 2020.

She head a dual portfolio as the Head of Risk Management and Strategic Audit Transformation st Discovery Health accross a 5 year tenure until 30 September 2024.

Kovini currently offers a range of consulting services that aim to optimise business processes , policies and governance structures, drive ethical leadership and support young professionals through Mentorship opportunities to successfully maneuver through in the spaces in which they occupy.

Achievements

Kovini has worked at many large listed companies across her tenure of 17,5 years as a Governance, Risk Management & Compliance Specialist and exceeded expectations across her tenure, winning awards for her excellence performance across the years.
In 2024 she was honoured with the prestigious Risk Manager of the year by the Institute of Risk Managers South Africa (IRMSA) for 2024, a testament of her excellence, experience and skill in the field.
She is a SAICA #differencemaker and has been recognized for her philanthropic efforts in empowering, uplifting and guiding young women as well as her brand building skills which she often shares to help young professionals stand out.
She has also been featured in professional magazines for her efforts such as the CFO magazine and SAICA`s ASA.
